Step-by-Step Pattern

Hat Base

Magic Ring:
Make a magic ring. Work 8 single crochet (sc) into the ring. Pull to close. Slip stitch into first stitch to join.
Increase Rows:
- Row 2: Chain 3, work 2 double crochet (dc) in each st around (total 16 dc). Slip stitch to join.
- Row 3: Chain 3, work 2 dc in each st around (total 32 dc). Slip stitch to join.

Work Even:

Ears

Magic Ring:
With white, make a magic ring, work 4 sc inside it. Mark first st with scrap yarn for spiral rounds.
Increase Rounds:
- Round 2: Work 2 sc in each st around. (Total 8 sc.)
- Round 3: (1 sc, 2 sc in next) around.
- Round 4: (2 sc, 2 sc in next) around.
- Round 5: (3 sc, 2 sc in next) around.
- Round 6: (3 sc, 2 sc in next) around.
- Work even sc rounds until you reach 9 rows or desired ear height.
- End with 2 sc, leave tail for sewing.
Make Second Ear:

Horn

Magic Ring:
With pink (Baby Love double yarn), make a magic ring, work 4 sc inside.
Increase Rounds:
- Round 2: 2 sc in each st (total 8 sc).
- Round 3: (1 sc, 2 sc in next) around.
- Round 4: (2 sc, 2 sc in next) around.
- Continue working even rounds of sc in spiral (11 total rounds).
Finish Horn:
Work 2 slip stitches, leave a long tail to sew.
Stuff lightly with silicone fiber for shape.

Mane (Spiraled Strands)

Chain and Spiral Mane Piece:
Make initial loop, and chain 35.
