  • Worsted weight yarn in main color and accent color
  • F crochet hook (3.75mm)
  • 15 mm safety eyes
  • Polyester fiberfill for stuffing
  • Yarn needle for sewing parts together

Pattern:

Head and Body:

  1. Start at the top with the main color.
    • Row 1: Chain 13. Starting in the second chain from the hook, HDC 12.
    • Rows 2-4: Chain 1, turn, HDC 12.
    • Row 5: Do not turn. Add an additional HDC in the same stitch just worked, turn your work, work 4 HDC down the side, with an additional HDC in the corner. Turn work and make 12 HDC across, with an additional HDC in the corner stitch. Turn and work 4 HDC up the side. Place one more HDC in the corner. Total of 36 HDC: 12 on each long side, 4 on each short side, and one additional HDC in each corner.
  2. Switch to working in continuous rounds.
    • Round 1: BLO HDC 36.
    • Rounds 2-8: HDC 36.
    • Switch back to working back and forth for the bottom section, if needed, HDC over to the beginning of a long row.
    • Row 9-12: BLO HDC 12. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing closed.

Arms (Make 2):

  1. Main color
    • Round 1: Chain 5. Starting in the second chain from hook, SC 3, work 3 SC in the last chain, turn work and SC 2, increase in the back side of the chain. Total of 10 stitches.
    • Rounds 2-7: SC in each stitch around (10).
  2. Attach fingers after Round 2. Pull yarn tails through the holes formed by starting chains to attach.

Legs and Feet (Make 2):

  1. Main color
    • Round 1: SC 6 in a magic ring.
    • Round 2: Increase (INC) x 6 (12 stitches).
    • Round 3: SC, INC x 6 (18 stitches).
    • Rounds 4-5: SC around (18 stitches).
    • Round 6: SC 4, decrease (DEC) x 3 (15 stitches).
    • Round 7: SC 3, DEC x 3 (12 stitches). Lightly stuff, fold top together, SC 5 across top to close.

Horns (Make 2 in accent color):

  1. Rounds 1-7: Start with 4 SC in a magic ring and increase gradually each round until you reach 10 SC in the final round. Each round starts with an increase followed by SCs in remaining stitches.

Eyebrows (Make 2 in accent color):

  1. Chain 7: Starting in the second chain from hook, SL ST, SC, HDC, DC 3. Fasten off, leaving a tail to sew to head.

Final Assembly:

  • Attach safety eyes between Rounds 4 and 5 of head, placing the eyebrows above to ensure they fit.
