Crochet Sleeping Cat Amigurumi Pattern
Materials
- Crochet the body and pose of the cat according to the master class about a sleeping beer. The master class is freely available on Taana Mea's channel.
- Crochet the muzzle, ears, and tail.
- Sew the muzzle, ears, and tail to the cat's head.
- Embroider the eyes and whiskers.
Making
Muzzle:
Use hook number 4 (4 mm).
- Make a loop in two chain stitches.
- In the first chain stitch, make six single crochets.
- In the second row, make six increases in each stitch.
- In the third row, make one single crochet and one increase, and repeat until the end of the row. There will be 18 single crochets at the end of the row.
- Make a sleep stitch, count the thread, and leave a small end.
- Crochet the second part of the muzzle in the same way as the first part, but do not make a sleep stitch and do not cut the thread.
- Connect the two parts of the muzzle by skipping two stitches on the first part and crocheting in a circle with single crochets.
- Cut the working thread and pull out the thread.
- Sew the hole between the two parts of the muzzle with a needle and thread.
- Sew the muzzle to the cat's head.
Ears:
Use hook number 4 (4 mm).
- Make a loop and two chain stitches.
- In the first stitch, make six single crochets.
- In the second row, make one single crochet and one increase, and repeat until the end of the row. Repeat this three times. There will be nine single crochets at the end of the row.
- In the third row, make two single crochets and one increase, and repeat until the end of the row. There will be 12 single crochets at the end of the row.
- Turn the ear right side out.
- In the fourth row, make three single crochets and one increase, and repeat until the end of the row. Repeat this three times. There will be 15 single crochets at the end of the row.
- In the fifth row, make four single crochets and one increase, and repeat until the end of the row. There will be 18 single crochets at the end of the row.
- In the sixth row, make 18 single crochets.
- Make a sleep stitch in the next stitch and cut the thread.
- Pull out the thread and tighten the thread.
- Thread the thread to the wrong side and fold the ear in half.
- Crochet the second ear in the same way.
Tail:
Use hook number 4 (4 mm).
- Make a loop and two chain stitches.
- In the first stitch, make five single crochets.
- In the second row, make five increases. There will be 10 single crochets at the end of the row.
- From the third row to the 37th row, make 10 single crochets in each row. Be sure to turn the crochet right side out after the fourth or fifth row.

Sewing the Ears and Tail:
Sew the ears to the cat's head in the middle, one ear on each side of the head.
- Sew the tail to the cat's head in the middle of the back.
Embroidering the Eyes and Whiskers:
Embroider the eyes and whiskers with a regular white thick thread.
